Police have arrested a young man and woman after finding 990,000 methamphetamine pills and 10.2 kilogrammes of crystal meth in a house in Yannawa district, Metropolitan Police chief Sanit Mahathavorn said on Wednesday. The house was being used to store drugs before they were delivered to dealers in inner Bangkok. Found in the house were 990,000 methamphetamine pills, 10.2 kilogrammes crystal methamphetamine, known as ice, 0.2kg of ketamine and a .38 gun with a false registration paper. The two suspects were charged with possession of illicit drugs with intent to sell and having an unregistered firearm. They were handed over to Bang Phong Phang police for further proceedings.
